Since the first Settlers reached Catan fifteen years ago, hobby board games have exploded into a rich cultural language all their own. On Tutorial Tuesdays, veteran gamer and teacher Mr. James will help you decode this language and enjoy this unique hobby.

In the inaugural session, we will explore two games with many ways to earn Victory Points. Point Salad is a quick and fun game in which players draft vegetable cards and different goals to achieve a higher score. Clank is a fantasy deckbuilder that has players push their luck to steal artifacts from a dragon’s lair. Both are excellent games for new and experienced players alike.
