This Thursday the Sorcery Social Club will be hosting a free learn to play event for Sorcery: Contested Ream, an old school magic influenced tactical collectible card game designed for casual games with friends but deep enough to support engaging tournament play. Learn to play decks will be provided for free for you to use in the event and take home with you. Members of the Sorcery Social Club will be on hand to guide you through your first few games.

Each game of Sorcery is as much a narrative experience you can share with friends, as it is a battle for tactical supremacy. The 'kitchen table' game sensibilities belie the much deeper complex and engaging gameplay, pulling from a diverse range of cards.

Two players take the roles of Avatars, assemble their own decks, and then cast a variety of elemental spells, summon powerful minions, and shape the world around them from their Atlas to increase their dominance and ultimately banish their foe.
